Dandi protects your privacy through responsible data practices

Please see our FAQ below to understand all your data privacy-related questions. Reach out to support@itsdandi.com for any questions.

What is a self-ID campaign?

Self-ID campaigns allow employees to share information about themselves, helping employers create a supportive and inclusive workplace culture.

Who can access my responses in Dandi campaigns?

Dandi offers three campaign privacy levels:

Only readable by Dandi

Only readable by Dandi:

Your responses are stored, mapped to your employee ID, and can only be accessed by Dandi's system. Your employer can view only aggregated data and cannot access your individual responses.

Anonymous

Anonymous:

No identifiable information is collected. Your responses cannot be linked to you as an employee.

Readable by Employer

Readable by Employer:

Your responses are stored, mapped to your employee ID, and both Dandi and your employer can access your individual responses.

Please check the bottom of your campaign introduction page to determine the privacy type for the campaign you are participating in.

It's important to note that Dandi never shares your individual responses with any third parties, regardless of the chosen privacy level.

How is my data used?

Anonymous survey:

  • Your responses are entirely anonymous and not linked to you as an individual
  • Your employer views the responses in aggregate and as an independent dataset

Non-anonymous survey:

  • Your responses are linked to your employee ID, sourced from your company's HRIS
  • This linkage provides your employer with more precise demographic information, enabling enhanced organizational analysis

In both cases, your individual responses are never shared with third parties.

How is my data protected?

Dandi upholds stringent data privacy standards and complies with relevant data regulations such as GDPR, CCPA, and CPRA. Furthermore, Dandi maintains SOC 2 compliance to ensure continuous and robust security practices throughout the organization
